Director of Photography. Artem has been honing his craft since 2014 when he completed Dmitry Dolinin's esteemed cinematography course at Saint Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television. It was there that he began his journey into filmmaking, working in collaboration with Alexander Sokurov's directorial course. His debut feature film 'Closeness' captivated audiences, firmly establishing him as a rising star in the industry.
Throughout his career, Artem has worked alongside directors such as Kantemir Balagov, Ivan I. Tverdovsky, Andrey Proshkin, Renata Litvinova, and Natalya Meshchaninova, among others. His talent did not stay unnoticed, as evidenced by his nomination in 2019 for the European Federation of Cinematographers (IMAGO) Award for Best Young Cinematographer. However, Artem's creative pursuits are not confined to cinematography. His still photography projects have been published in the likes of The Calvert Journal, Vogue UK, and i-D.
