Director of Photography, and self-taught cinephile with a passion for analogue.
Dima started his career with photography in 2012 but quickly moved on to shooting video. From testing every available VHS/cassette camcorder to digitizing footage at home, everything he knows is from hands-on personal experience. The basis of Dima's style is visual distortion using analogue methods: old optics and prisms, film stock, and various screens like television and monitors.
Dima is currently experimenting with more digital approaches and is looking to get into audio-visual performances, combining and synchronizing sound with generative graphics, using analogue as well as modern technology.
