Zhenia (born 1996, Moscow) is a writer-director whose work revolves around themes of self-perception, coming-of-age, absurdity, and dreams. She is a Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) graduate (2019). Her short films have been screened at international festivals and received several awards. Her graduation project 'RIO' was selected to Oscar and BAFTA-qualified film festivals. Currently, she is working as a writer/director/editor on commercials and music videos.
